Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students (State and Central Sector) 2019-20, Uttarakhand

Pre-matric scholarship for OBC Students is being offered by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. This scholarship scheme is available for the students studying in Class 1st to Class 10th. The scholarship is awarded to students living in Uttarakhand and studying in affiliated schools within the state. The main purpose of introducing this scheme is to financially support the OBC students in pursuing school education.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For OBC Students (State/Central Sector) Eligibility 

The eligibility conditions which students have to necessarily fulfill to apply for this scheme are:

• A student must be residing in Uttarakhand and belongs to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
• Students must be studying in class 1st to class 10th in the affiliated schools of the state.
• The applicant must have passed the previous examination with minimum qualifying marks.
• The family income of the applicant does not exceed INR 44,500 per annum.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For OBC Students (State/Central Sector) Rewards 

The scholarship amount distribution will be based on the class of the study of the students. The details regarding the value of scholarship are given below:

• Students studying in class 3rd to class 5th will receive a scholarship amount of INR 600/- per annum.
• Class 6th to class 8th students will get an amount of INR 720/- per annum.
• Students of class 9th and class 10th will receive a scholarship amount of INR 1000/- per annum.

3. Afterward, click on “New User? Register here”.
4. Now, select scholarship name, state of domicile, scheme type and fill all the required details.
5. Also, enter bank details and residential address.
6. Verify your mobile number through OTP and move towards the filling of the remaining form.
7. At last, note down the system generated user ID/application ID for further references.
