Scheme for Award of Stipend to ST Students, Arunachal Pradesh is offered by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe students of Arunachal Pradesh. The scholarship scheme offers an opportunity for the students to pursue their higher education. The financial help is provided in the form of the monthly stipend and annual grant for various UG and PG programs. All the works like processing and clearance of scholarship are done by the department of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Scheme for Award of Stipend to ST Students Arunachal Pradesh Eligibility Criteria

• Students who are a Domicile holder of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Students who are from the ST category can apply.
• One must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th or in the last qualifying examination.
• Students doing any of the following course may apply:
  1. B.A/B.Com/B.P.Ed/B.Sc, M.A/M.Com,LLB,M.P.Ed, LLM,M.Ed, M.Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D.
  2. B.Sc Agri/horti/forest/fishery /Diploma (engg.)B.E. /B.Tech, BCA,BBA,MBA,PGDM,TT&HM(Diploma), BFA/MFA,B.Ed,CA.M.Tech.B.V.SC &AH

Rewards of The Scholarship

Selected students will get the following:

• Monthly Stipend – INR 1400
• Annual book grant - INR-1000

Terms and Condition

• ST Students who are working as full-time employees are not eligible for the award.
• Students against whom any disciplinary action has taken are not allowed.
• Distance or correspondence courses do not come under this scheme.
• The continuation of a scholarship will be depending on the academic record of the current passing year.
