Scholarship and Technical Education to Handicapped Students 2020 initiative taken by the Social Justice & Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra. This scholarship scheme is available for the students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Students who are the permanent resident of Maharashtra state will only be eligible to apply for this scholarship. The aim of this scheme is to encourage the physically disabled student’s to pursue higher studies.

The conditions which students have to fulfill to be eligible:

• An applicant must belong to Maharashtra state.
• This scheme is available for the students having physically disabled of 40 percent or more.
• He/she must pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate course from a recognized institution.

Scholarship And Technical Education To Handicapped Students, Maharashtra Reward

The selected students can get the scholarship amount of up to INR 1200/-. The minimum amount given to the scholars is INR 230/-. Depending upon the course, the scholarship amount varies. Also, the reward for day scholars and hostellers is different. Hostellers will receive more financial assistance as compared to day scholars.

Aspirants can follow the below given steps to apply for the scholarship

1. Application forms are invited via online mode only.
2. Click here to register online.
3. Thereafter, complete your aadhaar registration process.
4. Register yourself as a “new user”.
5. Already registered user can directly login their account.
6. Fill all the required details including login account details, etc.
7. Afterward, login your account by entering username and password. 
8. Fill all the remaining details in the form and submit it.

Selection Procedure

Eligible students will be selected on merit basis of the qualifying examination. The renewal of the scholarship will be done only if a student maintains satisfactory performance in each academic year.

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship are informed that the application form has been released. The last date to submit the filled-in application form is 31st December 2019.
