SHDF Scholarship 2022 is offered by the Sikh Human development foundation USA & Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council, New Delhi. Basically its a merit-based scholarship scheme. Candidates passed Class 12th, graduation or PG can participate in SHDF Scholarship 2022. The main objective of this scholarship is to encourage students for pursuing their professional diploma, degree or PG courses after 12th.

Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council is world-renowned, social welfare body started with the aim to serve underprivileged people irrespective of caste, creed, and religion and Sikh Human Development Foundation is a non-profit foundation started with the objective to offer financial support to poor students and help them in pursuing their higher education.  

Eligibility Criteria SHDF Scholarship 2022

Students who have passed class 12th, graduation or post-graduation and wanted to pursue their education further can apply in this scholarship. Students should have passed their previous two exams with a minimum of 60 % marks or and willing to pursue their studies from government recognized institutes & universities. Students family income should not more than Rs 1.80 Lakh per annum.

SHDF Scholarship Reward 2022

Selected students can get up to Rs 30,000 per annum along with other facilities depending upon the student requirement & aspirations.

Important Documents Required For SHDF Scholarship 2022

• 3 Passport size photograph ( 2 should be placed on the desired places in the application form and one should be along with the application form mentioning candidate name)
• Photocopy of all the previous year mark sheets should be attested by the Gazetted Officer.
• Attested Family Income certificate.
• Address proof & Id Proof 

SHDF Scholarship 2022 Selection Criteria

Students need to appear in written test conducted by the foundation. The test will have two papers, paper 1 & paper 2. Paper 1 will have general knowledge questions while paper 2 will have the question related to religion & moral studies. Paper two will be based on the book named "Naitik Sikhiya" published by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Ludhiana. Students have to score a minimum of 50 % marks in the exam.

Selected students will be called for interview. After the interview, the selected candidate's name will be announced. The interview date & venue will be told in well in advance.
