Sun Pharma Research Award 2020 Reward, Eligibility & Last Date

Sun Pharma Research Award 2020 is being offered by the Sun Pharma Science Foundation, New Delhi. The award will be given for excellence in research work in medical and pharmaceutical sciences. Nominations are invited for Indian and NRI scientists for work in basic research, clinical research, and pharmaceutical sciences. The selected candidates will receive a cash prize of INR 2.5 lacs.

Eligibility Criteria for Sun Pharma Research Award:

• Indian and Non-resident Indian scientists working in India or overseas are eligible for this award.
• Candidate can complete at least 1st year of MD or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical or Biomedical Sciences. 
• The Candidate who has completed their MD or Ph.D. program isn’t eligible for the Award.

Sun Pharma Research Award Amount:

• There is a total of 3 awards: one for basic research, one for clinical research and one for pharmaceutical sciences.
• A candidate selected for the award will receive a trophy, citation and a cash prize of INR 2.5 lacs.
• The winners will also receive to and fro traveling expenses to New Delhi for attending Award Presenting Ceremony.
• Moreover, stay expenses will also be paid to the awardees.

• Research achievements (if any)

Sun Pharma Research Award Important Dates:

All the important dates related to this award are as follows:

• Nomination commences from – 1st July
• Deadline for submitting nominations – 30th August
• Last date to submit the printed copy of nominations – 10th September 

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made by the Panel of Judges, consisting of renowned scientists in the fields of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The ceremony of award presenting will be conducted in Delhi during the first quarter of 2020.
