The government of India invites an eligible candidate Swarnajayanti Fellowship 2020. This fellowship scheme is for young scientists who have excellent academic records and achievements. The scholarship will be given for five years of duration. This scheme is running under the aegis of The Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Swarnajayanti Fellowship Scheme 2020 Eligibility Criteria

• One must be an Indian citizen having a regular position in a recognized Indian academic /research organization.
• Applicants should be scientists between 30 to 40 years.
• Possess PhD in science /engineering/medicine and should not be getting any other fellowship scheme of government of India.
• Must be active in researcher in the area of science and engineering with outstanding contributions in the form of research publications or patents, peer reorganization from the scientific community, awards, etc.

Swarna Jayanti Fellowship Scheme 2020 Rewards

This fellowship scheme will cover the needs for performing the research and will also get a monthly fellowship of INR 25,000 P/M for 5 years. It will also cover grants for types of equipment, computational facilities, consumables, contingencies national and international travel and other special requirements.

• Visit the “DST e-PMS portal” and create your login account.
• Download your application form.
• Provide all the information like the project, budget, etc.
• Complete the form and submit your form online.

• Certificate from applicant
• Conflict of interest format from application (PI)
• Biodata

The last tentative deadline to apply is 31^st March 2020.

Swarna Jayanti Fellowship Scheme 2020 Selection Criteria

• The applications will be selected and candidates will be called for presentation.
• The shortlisted candidates after presentation by the subject committee will make a presentation to the National Core Committee Expert.
• The strong power of committees will make the final selection based on the recommendation of the National Core Committee.

Swarna Jayanti Fellowship Scheme 2020 Terms and Conditions

• The candidates are supposed to submit further additional information as required and represent your project idea before the final selection.
• The project should contain innovative research idea and it should have potential to make R&D in a particular subject.
• If investigators found incorrect or misleading information at any level, the whole proposal will be rejected.
