Teach for India is a non-profit organization offering fellowship to the brightest and talented youth of India. Teach for India Fellowship is the 2 years full-time fellowship program that provides an opportunity to work as a full-time teacher for the students belonging from low-income communities. Through this fellowship, the candidates can cultivate their skills and knowledge that help them in the future to become leaders.

Eligibility Of Teach For India Fellowship:

Following are some of the conditions to be eligible for Teach for India Fellowship:

• A candidate must be graduate in any discipline from a well-recognized college.
• Candidates pursuing a final year of graduation can also apply if they completed the course by May 2020-21.
• Indian citizens, as well as foreign nationals of Indian Origin holding OCI card, can also apply.
• An applicant must have fluency in the English language.

Teach For India Fellowship Reward:

• The fellows will get INR 19,000/- per month.
• Also, they will receive a housing allowance of INR 5500 to 10,000, depending upon the city of the living.

Teach For India Fellowship Selection Criteria:

Students have to go through a 3-steps selection process:

Stage-1: Firstly, candidates have to submit the application form. After submitting the form, applicants will receive a link to a one-hour online test namely AMCAT on their registered email ID. The test focuses on the English and decision-making skills of the candidates. Candidates have to complete the test within 4 days of the form submission.

Stage-2: On the basis of the result of the online test, the selected candidates have to go through a 30-minute telephonic interview round.

Stage-3: The candidates shortlisted in stage-2 will be called for final selection. In this stage, students will be called to the assessment center where they have to teach a 5-minute lesson, take part in GD, and one-hour long personal interviews.
